Couscous

  • Bring  1 ½  Cups water or broth to a boil.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of soy butter
  • 1 cup of whole wheat couscous
  • ½  tsp. sea salt

Stir reduce heat, cover and cook for 3-5 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Stir to fluff up and serve. Makes five ˝ cups servings.

Serving Suggestions:
Serve as a grain side dish like rice. Serve with sautéed vegetables(sauté vegetables until nearly tender, then add water or broth to the same pan and proceed as in the basic directions). Serve with your favorite sauce  or gravy.
